If this is the case, error reporting must be disabled (by your GUI?) or

Launching LinuxCNC from the command line will show all errors so
should help debug whats happening.

Does the 7I92 have a red LED illuminated after communication stops?
red LED is not illuminated, only the amber external LED

That's likely in error (or communications have stopped) as that's only
10 usec on a 2 GHz CPU
Haven't been able to keep it running long enough to open halshow to
