Subject: [Emc-users] Firmware for 5i24 board (to: PCW)
Hello!
Most probably this is a question for Peter:
I have been fighting with encoder counting and analog output issues
for quite some time in the retrofit I have done. I have replaced
several 7i48/7i33 boards, last of them was installed last week.
And still encoder channels 4 and 5 did not respond at all, encoder
channel 2 reads total nonsense.
Long story short - I flashed 5i24 board with 5i24_16_sv12im_2x7i48
firmware, moved 7i48 board to P3 connector and channel 4 works like a
charm.
I have 1x 7i48, 1x 7i37 and 1x 7i44 attached to 5i24 board. I can live
without 7i37 (I can attach 7i84 to 7i44 instead).
Unfortunately 5i24_16_sv12im_2x7i48 firmware does not have sserial channels.
The question is - is there existing firmware I can use for 7i48 (or
7i33) board on P3 and 7i44 on P2 (or vice versa)? Or do I need
something special (and can I get something? Pretty pretty please)?
Viesturs
I'll take a look at this later today
Is it possible you have a bad/damaged 5I24?
That is, does one connector not work properly?
