Hi Nicklas, On my system I designed a number of interface boards. I started with the HP_UHU DC Servo Drivers for the XY axis, a Gecko for the knee and the STMBL for the harmonic drive 4th axis. Turns out one of the DC servos had a problem and by the time I discovered that it was way past warranty. The Gecko self destructed due to corrosion on the screw terminals and excess heat. The casting for the harmonic drive isn't done yet so although the STMBL works it's not really been used.
I switched over to Bergerda AC servos and couldn't be happier. Both with performance, cost and direct factory support. But they needed different interfaces from the PMDX-126 and MESA 7i92H. So made new ones as shown in the attached photo. Although the Bergerda AC Servo spindle interface was initially done with PWM 0-10V ultimately I switched to Step/Dir. And had I not done all these drawings I likely would have wired it up and not updated any sort of sheets. This way I had to clean up drawings. Forced me to be more anal.
