If I understood it correctly it's a simplification of the UI, eliminating the dedicated stream mode in favor of re-utilizing (and therefore generalizing) the playlist mode for that task. Having no loss of features, I think that's a good idea, in general. A more elegant solution, perhaps. By the way what are the stream-capable players that EMMS supports out of the box? I ask because I'm running it on the OpenBSD 6.5's Loongson port in a Lemote Yeeloong, and it seems that every player I tried from the ports tree gave me segmentation fault while trying to play over the network. I've tried `mpv', `mplayer' and `vlc'. I'm looking for alternatives until I can sort that out (consulting with the OpenBSD and the respective player's communities). Is there any other player I could try? -- 88888 FFFFF Bruno Félix Rezende Ribeiro (oitofelix) [0x28D618AF] 8 8 F http://oitofelix.freeshell.org/ 88888 FFFF mailto:[email protected] 8 8 F irc://chat.freenode.org/oitofelix 88888 F xmpp://[email protected] _______________________________________________ Emms-help mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/emms-help
