Hello everyone, I’m looking for file system layer (possibly FUSE) which I can use with EncFS (above, below, or as extension), which stores
-symbolic links -owner/group -extended attributes in normal files. I want to use EncFS for my rented backup-space, which I access via SFTP (FUSE mounted via sshfs). But on the backup-server I’m a normal user, extended attributes don’t exist and symbolic link support is broken (doesn’t do relative links)! I like the pass-through characteristic of EncFS and would like to stack it with some kind of pass-through FS simplification layer. Anyone did this or knows something? Regards, Robert Siemer PD: Would also be interesting to stack a third layer in this: compression (before the encryption) like compression-simplification-encryption... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
