Dear All,

Many thanks for the message.

Chetan, I hope you know that a number of Public Interest Litigations
(PILs) have already been filed in the Supreme Court praying for a number
of reliefs. And the SC has very clearly said no to more PILs on Gujarat.
Only last week, when an Intervention application was listed before the
vacation court, the relief asked for (namely that the relief camps are not
closed, as contemplated by the Modi govt.) was denied and the petitioners
asked to go to the Gujarat HC. The IAa will now be taken up with the main
petitions, whenever they come up (and we think that's only when the SC
opens after vacations in July!!!).

What we could do is look into all the PILs and consolidate the efforts.
Chetan, you could contact PUDR who are one of the petitioners. We too are
looking into all the petitions and chalking out strategies and
interventions.

Do keep in touch.

Regards
Leena
