Distributed and went over syllabus. We wrote briefly about positive and negative writing experiences: POSITIVE: working out emotions self-definition entertainment involvement/effort challenge break it down learning NEGATIVE/DIFFICULTIES: misleading assignment narrrow topic pressure don't care citing (time) mistrust grammar Lively discussion of several questions from the Book of Questions Homework: Buy books, look over website (writinglab.net). Read intro to WRA (1-17) and write five questions for discussion in journal. Definitions can be found on the website. NOTE: Office hours on the printed syllabus are incorrect. I will be in my cubicle Mon, Wed, Fri from 1-3 in Ellis 8.
