Juan Hernandez has posted comments on this change. Change subject: pki: use PKCS#12 format to store keys ......................................................................
Patch Set 5: > I don't understand what you refer as key material. When I say "key material" I mean public keys, private keys, certificates, etc. Support people and users are quite familiar with the .keystore, the keytool commands and the contents of the different files in the /etc/pki/ovirt-engine directory. I think it is good if we inform everyone in the devel and users lists of the coming changes and request input. Regarding the alias, my suggestion to keep it was just that, a suggestion, I won't block this change just for that. I think the alias might be useful if someday we have more than one CA, or more than one engine key pair. For example, we could have the "engine2.2", "engine3.0" and "engine" keys, for backwards compatibility. -- To view, visit http://gerrit.ovirt.org/6883 To unsubscribe, visit http://gerrit.ovirt.org/settings Gerrit-MessageType: comment Gerrit-Change-Id: I2abda5778477faff09798a43cf3dc96435efb272 Gerrit-PatchSet: 5 Gerrit-Project: ovirt-engine Gerrit-Branch: master Gerrit-Owner: Alon Bar-Lev <[email protected]> Gerrit-Reviewer: Alon Bar-Lev <[email protected]> Gerrit-Reviewer: Barak Azulay <[email protected]> Gerrit-Reviewer: Doron Fediuck <[email protected]> Gerrit-Reviewer: Itamar Heim <[email protected]> Gerrit-Reviewer: Juan Hernandez <[email protected]> Gerrit-Reviewer: Ofer Schreiber <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ Engine-patches mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/engine-patches
