Patch Set 2: I still do not get it, I am very sorry.... But engine session can be invalidated using various of events: 1. user logs off. 2. inactivity timeout. 3. user constraint of login ours. 4. sysadmin force logout user session. in all these cases the engine session may be invalid before the http session, and it is perfectly ok. it is the responsibility of the ui application to keep alive the http sessions intact, the fact that we use two adds complexity for the frontend, but it is the frontend responsibility to make sure that during application is alive the http session is valid. so I still do not understand...
