Patch Set 6: Using Juan's test page, I got this to work perfectly in Firefox 31, but not Chrome 36. Juan, does it work for you in Chrome? Screenshots here. The last screenshot is Chrome. I authenticated to the API in another tab, but it gives 403 on the OPTIONS preflight. Google search isn't helping much.
