Patch Set 1: If I remember the code snippet, it was done using plain java without spring-ldap. Spring-ldap provides us some abstractions (and yes, we need to understand how to work with it correctly, and it does have its design limitations). If you are going to take care of manage-domains as well, maybe worth mentioning in commit msg that this is just the first step of a series of patch.
