Set the #if to 0 - if it works I would really like to eliminate the
assembler code.
Exactly what I did, and what helped. I added && 0 to the end of the #if
Works for me, so I uploaded it to Debian now. Unstable this time; I'll
decide the next few days if I'll keep it out of etch or not. Or maybe
it's hit by the freeze before that.
But on general I have the feeling that 1.00 is at least as good as 0.92
