i realize this may not sound as sexy, but couldn't we set the mime option for text to something like "eterm -e '$TEXTEDITOR'"?
Can we please use an option like the above. I am not about to start a flame war, but everyone has their favorite editor, and most likely already has EDITOR or VISUAL defined to it.
