As david said, there is a wealth of difference between EFM and Entropy (the external (non-wm-integral) file manager that I am creating. EFM will be much more integrated into the window manager itself (at least for the time being) - and CodeWarrior is doing a great job in this regard.
Entropy is based on a virtual file system (evfs) that I am also writing. As such, it contains features that the initial revisions of EFM cannot contain (ability to manage non-posix file systems (samba, virtual tar etc), and others. Evidence was originally created by Azundris et al. It's initial development period was before a lot of the more recent (and useful) EFL came to fruition. As such, it's interface is heavily reliant on GTK, and other parts. This is not to say that Evidence is not a great app - it's feature set will outweigh EFM and Entropy for quite some time to come.
