Oh that's great then...this would be what we want to do! As at the last time I checked neither of the major display managers had standardized on session management, but it seems that they're moving in that direction now. I'm definitely willing to move forward with this approach. Was there some discussion about some standard routine for parsing .desktop files in ecore_config or something like that? That's probably the right way to go about this, since afaik .desktop files are used for many things other than window manager sessions.
