Dunno whether it can help you, but you may have a look at the C++ bindings to EFL at http://projects.linuxtogo.org/projects/eflpp/
In the cvs tree is a couple of example programs I run w/ ecore on framebuffer. See also the framebuffer specific initialization sequence in EcoreEvasWindow. Note that the code is a couple of months old and EFL changed, I'm not sure whether it still compiles.
