Stability and conservatism is good when running a public facing server. So the real question is, does epdf really need the latest, bleeding edge, release candidate of poppler? Is the API of poppler so unstable that older versions wont work? Should I add epdf to the skip list as "always requires bleeding edge version of poppler"?
