You both have a point, that's why I say the solution is to add a force
flag. Force=1 is what you want, Force=0 is what raster want, simple.

Save a draft for at least 12hours, then review, edit and mail the
final version... It's rare you to get a reply before that time, so it
will be about the same (you'll not loose some replies or so). :-)
