Not exactly...

This is something I was personally thinking about taking on with every theme
I create. All those parts are then created at the same time using the same
base rules within the .xcf files. From a design perspective I find it easier
to work like this (as with the old days of building a gtk 1.4 theme to match
the dr16 theme from the dialogue bits). Only problem with that is time
scales as then you have to *seriously* think about how the design will work
for the user, fun, fun, fun...

Still haven't had a whole world of joy with edje so this is all pie in the
sky dreams at the moment, but i suppose for everyone thinking about creating
new themes and being a theme maintainer etc, building a desktop mock-up and
creating all of the relevant edje files might be the way forward despite the
extra work involved.

Probably wouldn't be a wise move to force this on anyone as I find the whole
concept pretty intimidating at the moment (some thing I shall conquer), just
something to make sure people are aware of perhaps in the future.

Just my 2 cents

nathan

p.s. Been using e17 solidly at work and at home for the past 4 weeks or so
and I am loving it, you guys are doing a fantastic job! :D
