I have a few projects I'll be working on soon, and I want to use EFL for them. It looks like elementary is the only toolkit that is actively developed these days. So I guess I'll use it.
Elementary does not seem to have ordinary drop down menus, either from the top of the window, or in other places. Actually, pie menus would be great to, but I can live without them for a while yet. Top of window menus is where I wanted to start. lol Unfortunately, for most of these projects, Windows versions will be required. Maybe Mac as well. I only got linux. What state is the elementary port to Windows in? Cross compiling from linux works easily? Same questions for the EFL lua support, since that will be part of at least two of the projects. And I might as well use lua for the theming, to keep from needing yet another scripting language. -- A big old stinking pile of genius that no one wants coz there are too many silver coated monkeys in the world.
