In case you plan to work further on the conf_randr stuff, I just want to let you know, that I guess we/I need to put back the recursive position determine logic. I had a reason, when I implemented it in the first place, I just forgot it/was too tired.
Determing positions based on scaling their representations' position obviously won't work since the representations can't be set to floating point positions.
