I didn't quite understand this. Do you mean to determine the position 
from the e_layout when you DnD the outputs?

The reason I'm looking into this is because I need to 
activate/deactivate outputs when I dock/undock my laptop. It doesn't 
seem like the current code supports it, or does it?
