Nicolas, sorry about that. We do not in fact have a proper stable branch for evil, so for 1.7.2 Vincent generated a tarball for me. As far as I can tell, you can just use the 1.7.2 tarball since there should have not been any changes, but lets wait for Vincent to chime in since he is the one who knows best about these devilish issues.
