Not a good start -

phab.enlightenment.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
The certificate is only valid for Carsten Haitzler

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

But I trust Raster, even though I can hear him cackling evilly in the
background right now. So moving on. Registering with the ugly
registration form (I came to my senses) worked fine, except it
did not ask me for a password. I expect I'll be given a chance to
choose a password, or be told what it is, when I get a confirmation
email.

Yep, the email gave me a (hopefully) one time link to my preferences
"change password" page. I changed my password, logged out, and logged
in fine. Now to see if it all works good.

Might be a good idea to warn people on the registration page about how
they get to set their password. Might stop some complaints that it's
crap and don't work.
