I think that by the time we release e22 (whenever that maybe) bryce will be pretty close to ready, ie shelf positioning will be fixed and all the important widgets will be ported. Given that I think it should ship in e22 alongside the old shelf as a "Tech Preview" that way people who want can use it and find any minor bugs to help us. We can then aim to drop it for e23 but before that can be done we need to make sure that we can correctly migrate older shelf configs to bryce.
