possibly your default theme is overriding the -b ?

ctrl+right mouse button in window.
Background -> Picmap -> none
And then "save theme settings" or "save user settings"

Tries to save the config to /usr/X11R6/share/Eterm/themes/Eterm/user.cfg and fails.

If I pass a config file via -X myuser.cfg

It tries to save it to /usr/X11R6/share/Eterm/themes/Eterm/myuser.cfg

If I give it a full path -X /home/esoteric/myuser.cfg

It attempts to save it in:

/usr/X11R6/share/Eterm/themes/Eterm/home/esoteric/myuser.cfg

I reset the search var CONFIG_SEARCH_PATH=~/.Eterm

The bloody thing still tries to write to /usr/X11R6/share/Eterm/themes/Eterm/user.cfg

Suggestions??   Eterm 0.9
