AFAIK the ps2 port is not intended for hotplugging, and even if I do
not have a usb mouse I'm pretty sure they use a different device
(maybe this can be overriden via symlinks or device managers like
udev, I don't know).
however, I think mouse problems should belong to X, not to E.
I would agree if I would have the same problems when using the same mouse (by PS2) in e16 or KDE, which I don't.
So it must be some kind of conflict with e17.
