currently - no. this though is more a matter for having an option as to how to
do fullscreen/maximise policy - should it use a subset of the screen (making
gadgets and panels etc. visible), the entire screen, or across all screens.
there's work to be done there yet. i see your point and it's valid and worht
looking into - but for now we have much bigger fish to fry :)

1. get more experience with c. you need to be 100% comfortable with pointers,
structs, function pointers, callbacks etc.
