That is most definitely a matter of opinion, and those opinions are off-topic for this list. All this-distro-is-better-than-that-one comments should be sent directly to /dev/null. Here's the "way to go:" if you do the work, you pick the distro. That's why ELive uses Debian. Not because it's superior, but because the guy who did the work (Thanatermesis) picked it. End of story.
