E exports DBus calls to that AFAIR, if not let me know and I can try
to hack it during the weekend. Maybe you need the msgbus module, I'm
not sure that is exported in the E core.

Note that this runs on USER session, so you'll need to aquire it's
address before calling dbus-send.
