Thanks Thomas, The theme is A-Black3, and it does use color classes. Settings => Settings Panel => Look => Colors changes other colors such as "Border Title", "Button Text", and "Module Label" as expected. I think this "headings" font color is set somewhere else (system default) because other themes on my system, including the default and illume have the same color, or something very close to it.
In any case I played with e.text.label in A-Black3/default.edc followed by a rebuild and it did not affect the text color of the "headings".
