actually you dont need to do that. what you are seeing is the result of an old e installation. many of e17's modules were "rationalized". that means 2, 3 or 4 modules were rolled into 1. so that means you have the old separated modules still installed alongside the new "integrated" ones. BOTH the old separated modules provide the settings icons as well as the new integrated ones, and both are still loaded in your config, thus the duplicates. the old ones will also be built against an older e17 thus structures internally changed and thus you'll get crashes. what you should do is: 1. rm -rf /usr/local/lib/enlightenment (or wherever you installed enlightenment - /usr/local is the default) 2. just re-run "make install" on e itself and then restart enlightenment (from e's menu, ctrl+alt+end etc.) e will complain about missing modules and if you want to unload them. just say "yes" to all. :) > Wipe out your current E config (or move it to a backup) and try with a fresh > one). > > On Wed, Aug 31, 2011 at 2:23 PM, Dennis Heuer > <dh-mailingli...@online.de>wrote: > > > Hello, > > > > after installing the svn versions, half of the modules appear twice in > > the settings dialog.
