it runs kdeinit. that's it. whatever kdeinit does... that's up to kde. :) we
aren't going to try 100% integrate into kde or gnome. these above are more
stop-gap measures to make people happy that their apps look/feel right when
using e. for gnome we rune gnome-settings-daemon. ultimately i want to replace
that entirely as it also conflicts with e - it stirs to change mouse settings,
screensaver stuff etc. which hurts e. all we need out of the gnome side is
setting dpi, fonts, gtk theme and icon theme for gtk. if someone is interested
in rolling out a minimalist "settings daemon" that does these - feel free. i
wanted to, but i'm not due to trying to cut work out to get e17 done.
