When you move the window past a certain threshold, it will get moved to the next desktop. There is no half-and-half.

E17 systray module DOES work. Did you add the systray module to a shelf somewhere ?? You will need to do that, else there is nowhere for the systray module to be and this nowhere to display things. Likely not a module configure problem. More than likely a "kernel config" issue in that the temp module is look for certain things to read in /sys (or something, I could be wrong here). Best thing to do...read the temp module code, see what it is looking for. Kernel usually provides necessary interfaces that the temp module is looking for....
