Next request. Gnome-terminal sends mouse wheel events to vi, less etc, so I can scroll within vi using my laptop's touchpad for instance, which I find very useful. Other than that, out of curiousity, for those of you who don't use tabs, how do you manage multiple terminals? Note: I'm not talking about 2-3 or 32" monitors, but like 10+ on a normal monitor, from which you wish to switch quickly and easily? I personally have not found screen, alt+tab, shading, virtual desktops, tiling or any combination of the above practical.
