I did set terminology with a translucent background since the first time I
installed it, and all was fine to me as the terminal window was indeed a
little darker than the desktop.
then, at some point I did an apt-get upgrade and suddenly the background had
become lighter than desktop (see attachment). probably it is due to a
particular package that was updated, but I don't know which package could be
the responsible.
of course I'm not writing to blame terminology at all, which is a great app to
me :) what I would like to do is more a suggestion for a possible nice feature
to implementent in the future.
something like the --tint option of Eterm, which allows to set a a mask to
tint a transparent background, or even a slider to adjust the alpha channel
would be a "nice to have" feature IMHO.
