I noticed this as well, it happens reproducibly when having a large output,
e.g. during compiling.
Unfortunately, the only machine I run the released software on is my laptop
and this one does not have any debugging symbols, so I can't provide a
meaningful backtrace.
On my development machine I run everything from SVN and it doesn't happen
there.

However, I can say, the the segfault always occurs in the function:
evas_software_xlib_x_write_mask_line
Setting the elm engine to opengl resolves it, so I guess it's save to say
that the problem is in the evas 1.7.4 software engine.
