Hiya folks!

I'm using E 0.22.4 on latest arch linux (2019.07.01) on a thinkPad Carbon
X1 2nd Gen. Arch's default systemd/logind config handles suspend just fine
when I'm at console, unfortunately in X11/E, I see systemd capture the lid
closed event in logs, but clearly suppresses taking any action.

I looked into configuring ACPI bindings in Enlightenment, it already was
configured to 'Suspend' on 'Lid Closed', I tried changing this to 'Suspend
now', just for kicks, with no change. I tried adding a new binding and
having E capture the lid closed event, but when I reopen the lid, the
settings panel is still sitting there waiting for me to trigger an ACPI
event.

What might I be missing? Are there lower level tests I can do? I'm very
familiar with Linux in general, but haven't used a Linux desktop other than
Ubuntu in ages, and got this machine largely for the purpose of getting
back to roots of running a manually configured machine where I understand
the interaction of all the components and keep a minimal OS footprint.

Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Best,

Justin
