Its not always right, as far as I remember sometimes it might be left.
However the jumping under behavior is consistent.
I don't see what you see - not with git master. So I guess it has long
been
fixed. 0.23 is quite old so ... try git master if you want a fix "now"
or wait
for a release and then for your distro to make/update packages etc.
