Hi, Normally there is no need to assign/rewrite any COS/ToS value for Cisco Phones. COS/ToS values that are preconfigured in the phone shoud be OK.
CiscoDP works fine for automatic VLAN assignment with all Cisco Phones except for CP-6941 My experience is that CP-6941 does not understand the CiscoDP message from the switch. You can use lldp-med as workaround, and lld-med works with all Cisco Phones (that I've tested).
