I've found that issues also a few versions back. I could fix it by executing the following...
show config outfile configs/c3-backup-01-31-12.txt reboot switch and select "2" from the boot menu and enter "administrator" for the password reset the switch to factory, then boot it up issue the following command... configure configs/c3-backup-01-31-12.txt This is rather draconian, but it worked for me every time. -----Original Message----- From: Tshepo Nkomo [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, January 30, 2012 12:23 AM To: Enterasys Customer Mailing List Subject: [enterasys] DHCP issues Hi All; I have upgraded my C3G124-48P Switches to 06.42.10.0016. After the upgrade my Switch started losing connectivity to the DHCP, I will ping the DHCP server, Some users and phones will not get ip addresses. But if you configure a static IP address on the laptop then you can connect fine. I have downgraded the Firmware to 06.42.09.0005, and it seems to be fine. I have 6 different other stacks running 06.42.10.0016 that seems to be running fine, but I am afraid they might start experiencing the same issues also. When this happens the logs do not sure anything. I am not sure if this is a hardware issue on my current stack. Please help ASAp.
