I have switched to Entourage this week and, assuming all goes well, would like to safely remove the old Outlook Express installation. Therefore my questions:
- What folders & files should I delete from the Microsoft User Data folder in Documents?
- I assume that I can delete the entire Outlook 5.02 folder containing the Outlook Express application – please confirm.
- What extensions, control panels, and help files/folders can be deleted?
- Are there any other locations that files were installed to that should be deleted?
- What is the complete list of file descriptions, mime types, PC file type, and type and creator codes associated with Outlook Express that should be removed from File Exchange?
- What is the complete list of file descriptions, mime types, PC file type, and type and creator codes associated with Entourage that should be added to File Exchange?
Title: Re: Cleaning out old Outlook Express items
I see that there are no responses to this request. Are there any scripts that do this?
