Pleasure. Just to mention that my script (Open Contact Name) has a few extra
handles: for example, you can select a name, email or 'name <email>'
combination on the screen and it will open up the contact if it exists or
make you a new one if it doesn't. I'm finding that very useful when people
send me the name and email address of a third person: just select the
Some Name <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
on the screen, press option-command-O and a new contact is made that has
first name, last name and email address correctly, and opens up. So it's
sort of like "Add Sender to Address Book", except that it works not just
with the sender, but with anybody. (And if you select nothing, it opens up
the sender instead.) And opens it up. Or you can do the "type in a few
letters", like Allen's, which he says is faster than mine if you type in the
whole name. Since I'm a really lousy typist, I much prefer then "auto-fill"
of just typing in 3 or 4 letters: by the time I'd typed in the whole name, i
might as well have gone to the Address Book and searched!
Anyway, it's one of about only 5 scripts of my own that I use myself, every
day.
