'Next' depends on the context. You will get different results for
different sort orders in the window. It is one aspect of the
interface that needs to be tidied up.
I also do not like the way that it scrolls the screen either a full
page, two lines, or anywhere in-between when it gets to the end of a
mail. This is most confusing and it's too easy to lose track of the
point where you were reading. You end up having to scan up and down
the screen looking for where you left off. Bad interface. If you're
going to scroll the screen like this it should be one screenful at a
time so you know that you need to start reading at the top - somewhat
like turning the page in a book - you don't expect to start reading
anywhere but at the top of the next page!
