It's just one more Import mechanism they'll have to supply now (importing
the OS X Address Book into Entourage). With Office QuickView available from
the Dock, presumably, you'll be  able to access our Address Book  whenever
you want. 

Now if they make it scriptable too, then other apps could also access it. Is
OS X's Address Book scriptable, by the way? I gather that whatever
developers at Apple did the AppleScripting for the OS X apps which are
scriptable (mail.app, TextEdit), there are some real howlers in the
terminology. (The AppleScript Sourcebook reports that "there are several
window properties beginning with "is," such as Is Zoomed instead of Zoomed,
leading to awkward statements like 'if window 1 is is zoomed', and a
Required Suite listed in some Dictionaries even though the Required Suite
was discontinued about 3 years ago.) You'd think they would have asked the
AppleScript team at their own company to check it over!
