What happened was the client(Entourage) and server got out of sync somehow. Refreshing that folder in Entourage would correct the problem. Relaunching is another way to refresh the folders.

Right after sending my email to the list requesting help, I had one more idea myself. I thought, "Why not try and open it in OS X's Mail.app? Sure enough, there it was! The strange part was, after quitting Mail.app and re-starting Entourage again, there it is now in the Entourage drafts folder. Problem solved (for now!). Although it does leave me wondering what was going on. Thanks anyway, Dave, for the suggestion. Obviously, I didn't have a chance to try it out! All's well that ends well, I guess!
