Paul
Since you responded to the "P.S." of this email, perhaps you already responded to the main body but I missed it. If so, could you please send your response again? Thanks. Previous message When I got Entourage 2001, I imported info from ACT, my previous contacts manager program. In ACT, I had sorted contacts into several categories. When imported, these categories appear in Entourage in the Custom 4 field. Any one contact may have several different categories listed in Custom 4 field, separated by semicolons (the old ACT way). I want to select all contacts that had one particular ACT category, so I can give them a proper Entourage category. I go to "Advanced Find," drag down to "Custom 4" -> "contains" -> and I type in the category, in this case, "HP". Even though there are other categories listed in the custom 4 field, one of them is HP, and I figured the "contains" criteria would sort it out. Entourage searches through the entire contacts list and comes up with nothing. Suggestions? Thanks. Richard P.S. Some of you (Paul, Allen, etc.) answer so many questions, I just curious - are you part of Apple, or are you just serving out of your passion to help? ------ End of Forwarded Message -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
