Nice, I didn't know routers could do the pppoe trick too.

In my case PPPoE only applies to my router, since that is the only thing that talks to 
the DSL modem. My router is set up through a browser by putting in a special IP number 
which brings up a set-up window. I am sure this is different in every router.
