Greetings from a newbie here, not yet seen my first digest. I ahve joined to try and help out a friend "down under" in Australia who has been struggling with some strange things on Entourage 2001. As I have not seen it myself I have asked him to describe the problem. Hope this rings some bells for someone here!
He says: ------------- The main thing is: Old, deleted, e-mail addresses appear when I bring up a 'new' e-mail to send. The current address comes up, but often it is surrounded by old addresses that I have deleted. I have tried deleting the person's entry altogether, then creating a new address for that person, and still the old addresses appear! Not so many since I have opened a new identity, but still appearing 'from nowhere.' -------------- It sounds like old addresses are being "remebered" from something in the database. I have had him creat new identities, rebuild the database, export, delete, and import the address book, and many other things I cannot recall. If anyone has a clue, please help!
