Title: Synchronizing the Entourage Calendar to the Palm's
I’m new to this list so I apologize if this matter has been previously discussed.
I’m very happy to have the conduit available, and was overall very pleased with its results. I had expected to find any difficulties in the area of the address book. But I am amazed at how well it handles the synchronization of phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
My problem is with the calendar in the area of repeating events which have no time and repeat daily with a chosen end date. If I enter this in entourage, it displays correctly in its calendar with the selection bar extending over the chosen days. But when I synchronize this with the palm, only the first of the chosen days appear (there is no entry on the other days). This is my main problem, for my palm does not now reflect my schedule. However, if I initiate this same entry on the palm, the palm calendar correctly shows dotted lines over the selected days (showing the connection). But when this entry gets synchronized, Entourage shows the days separately, with no connection. No data has been lost in this case, but the two systems which have the same capabilities, are handling the same situation differently.
I’d appreciate any help or information anyone has on this situation.
